Our Story

Rooted in Fishing. Wired for Production Introduction

Founded for and by Fishermen

History

Silver Bay Seafoods began operating in 2007 as a single salmon processor, built and owned by fishermen who wanted greater transparency, opportunity, and value for their catch. Named after Silver Bay in Sitka, Alaska, the company was founded through hard work, partnership, and innovation.

This model continues to guide our operations, grounded in our core values of fishermen focus, accountability, and innovation. We operate state-of-the-art facilities across Alaska and the West Coast, producing salmon, whitefish, and shellfish for markets worldwide and delivering sustainable, responsibly harvested seafood.
